Requirements:
iTouch SA had been providing IVR and other related services to the SABC over the past few years. They wanted to extend this arrangement by providing text solutions to the SABC’s 3 TV channels and many radio stations. The SABC wanted to retain control over the set up and management of all their on-air campaigns as well.

Fontera Solution:
iTouch licensed the RadioTXT system from Fontera for the radio stations and Fontera built ChannelTXT, a TV text management system with fully moderated Ticker outputs, for the TV channels.

Conclusion:
The SABC began using ChannelTXT in July 2004 and the RadioTXT roll-out began in August 2004.
