Campaign: Classified Alerts and Mobile Browsing

Requirements:
Spark Network Services and Advanced Telecom were looking for an impressive SMS text messaging offering to take to their new and existing newspaper clients. The solution had to be all-encompassing and able to launch US titles into the mobile world.

Fontera Solution:
Fontera adapted the existing PrintTXT system to the US and added interesting components such as a Classified Alerts system that notified readers when the item they were looking for appeared in the classified section of the paper. Readers are also able to browse adverts using the Mobile Internet directly from the Alert. A full suite of SMS Info services was also added so that readers are now able to receive the latest news, weather, sports and other updates directly to their cellphones all day.

Conclusion:
The system was very well received and is rolling out with major newspaper titles across the US in the 3rd quarter 2006.
